A breach of contract occurs when one party fails to deliver the terms agreed to in a legally binding contract. This often means that the innocent party involved has the legal right to recover compensation for their loss in damages. Prior to exercising that right, the innocent party must prove how the offending party has breached the contract. In these cases, FISI investigates the offending party and presents evidence to support how terms within a contract have been breached by way of locating key witnesses and conducting interviews and surveillance.
