Kevin Schumacher is the owner and lead investigator at Freedom Investigative Services, Inc. Following a long history of working in the blue collar sector, Kevin refocused his interests and discovered his second career in 2004, upon testing highly for personal abilities and application of cognitive ability fitting within the legal industry. After attending MTI College where he studied Bankruptcy, Real Property, Wills and Trusts, Family Law, Contracts, Criminal Procedure, Criminal Law, Torts, Immigration, Extended Focus on Legal Research & Writing, Kevin obtained his paralegal certificate. While working at a law firm specializing in family law, he discovered his passion: finding out the truth in the effort to support justice. In 2008, and after completing a 6000 hour investigations internship through BSIS Investigations, Kevin launched Freedom Investigation Services, Inc., a firm dedicated to belief that the truth shall set one free.
Originally based in Southern California, now located in Oregon, Kevin has expanded his business to serve the West Coast. With Kevin running lead on all investigative matters and maintaining client relations, FISI now hosts a network of investigators bringing various backgrounds, skill-sets and expertise to conduct investigations and consult on security measures for private entities in California, Oregon and Washington.
Kevin is a member of Professional Investigators of California, National Legal Licensed Investigators, Oregon Association of Licensed Investigators, and Washington Associate of Licensed Investigators. He has also continued to expand his expertise to cover the following areas:
